Not Just Weddings
Alongside weddings, Ginger Films produces brand films, product and jewellery shoots, event coverage and tutorial or explainer videos for businesses. Brands we've worked with include Titan IBD, Tanishq USA, Sankesh Surana Jewels, Amado Bakery and Bakers' 169.
People often ask how much a corporate event or brand shoot costs in India. Just like weddings, there's no honest single number. Here's what actually decides it.
What Decides the Cost
- What you need at the end. A set of event photos, a short social reel, a full brand film and a product catalogue are very different jobs.
- Crew size. One photographer, or a team with videographers, lighting, sound and an assistant.
- Duration. Half day, full day or several days.
- Pre-production. Concept, script, storyboard, location scouting, models and styling for brand films.
- Post-production. Editing, colour grading, sound design, motion graphics and revisions.
- Location and travel. In-studio, on-site, or out-of-town shoots.
- Usage. Where the content will be used (internal, social, ads) can affect licensing and model fees.
How to Brief a Production Team
A clear brief saves time and money. Include:
- Goal: what should this content achieve?
- Audience: who is it for?
- Deliverables: number of photos, video lengths, formats (vertical for reels, horizontal for YouTube)
- References: a few examples you like, and a few you don't
- Date, location and timings
- Brand guidelines: colours, fonts, tone
- Approvals: who signs off, and how many revision rounds
- Budget range, so the team can suggest the best plan within it
Event Coverage vs Brand Production
Event coverage
Conferences, launches, award nights and team events. Mostly about capturing what happens: speakers, guests, moments, branding. Quick delivery often matters.
Brand production
Planned and scripted: product films, jewellery shoots, founder stories, explainers. More pre-production, more control, more editing.
Questions to Ask Any Production Team
- Can we see work similar to what we need?
- Who will be on set, and who edits?
- How many revisions are included?
- What's the delivery timeline?
- Who owns the final content, and how can we use it?
- What's included, and what costs extra?
Many of the same rules apply as for weddings. See our guide to choosing reliable vendors.
From our side: the same team that handles the pressure of a wedding day, where nothing can be reshot, brings that care to brand and event work. Tell us what you need and we'll suggest the simplest way to get there.
